We offer well priced, affordable accommodation in fully self contained apartments. All  rooms are located on the ground floor.

Check In: From 2pm on day of arrival (unless by prior arrangement otherwise).

Check Out: By 10am on day of departure. We try to be as flexible as possible but we need time to prepare the apartments for the next guests’ arrival so please ask rather than assume.

Environmentally responsible: We are proud of our sustainable credentials and are constantly looking for ways to reduce our impact on the environment. Reduce, re-use, recycle is our mantra and our method. All our apartments have double glazing installed throughout and we maximised the use of wall and ceiling insulation at the design and construction stage in 2020/21.  All apartments also have excellent sound insulation and each apartment is separated by double thickness walls. Ceiling fans in every room complement our split system heating and cooling.  We use our own green electricity generated by a 20kw solar power array and offer EV charging.  We have almost eliminated the use of single-use soft and hard plastics (we use compostable bin-liners and re-fillable soap dispensers).  We use minimal “harsh” chemical daily cleaning products and environmentally friendly washing-up liquid and laundry detergent. We also offer in-room recycling and composting caddies.

Tesla Charging: We have two Tesla Destination Chargers (one with an extra long cable). These are available at no additional charge for guests staying in a one or two bedroom apartment. There is a service fee of $15 for guests staying in a studio and $25 for those not staying. Please let us know at the time of booking whether you will need to use the charger so we can allocate the appropriate room.

Car Parking: Free off-street parking is available on site.  Pre-reservation is not required. Very large vehicles can usually park on King Street.

Accessible apartment: If you require our fully wheelchair accessible apartment, please book the large studio apartment or get in contact to discuss your needs. Botanic Apartments Access Management Plan.

Daily Servicing: This includes providing fresh towels as required, emptying the bins and replenishing tea, coffee, milk and other guest amenities. Extra cleaning such as vacuuming is carried out on request. Servicing on Sundays and Public holidays is also avaliable on request.

Pillows: We provide two medium and two high pillows on each king bed. In addition, there are two low-profile pillows provided in the wardrobe for guests who would prefer a flatter pillow.

Longer stays: The Botanic Apartments are ideally set up for long stays of several weeks or months whether this be for work commitments in South West Victoria or for those needing temporary accommodation whilst renovations take place at home. For longer stays we carry out a full linen change and apartment clean on a weekly basis whilst still offering daily servicing of the apartments Please let us know if you would like other arrangements and we are happy to accommodate (there is an extra charge for daily bed linen change).

Extra guests including children: Please let us know the ages of your children and if you are bringing extra guests. There is no extra charge for using existing bedding up to the applied occupancy rate of 4 per 2 bedroom apartment and 2 per 1 bedroom and studio apartments. Extra guests are charged at $20 per person per night. Babies in guests’ own cots are not charged.

Reservations & Bookings: Valid credit card details are required at the time of booking and a pre-approval may be taken against the card. Some exceptions for Company accounts, regular guests and when booking 3 months in advance (see deposits below).

Peak periods: Peak periods include Victorian Christmas School Holidays, Public Holiday weekends, Speedway events, Port Fairy Folk Festival, May Races and other local special events.

Cancellation:  A cancellation fee of one night’s accommodation will apply to any booking cancelled from 10:00am the day before the date of arrival. In case of no-show, 100% of the first 3 nights will be charged. Any cancellation fee will automatically be charged to the credit card provided, or deducted from the reservation deposit. A change of date is regarded as a cancellation of the original booking.

Bookings cancelled within 30 days of the arrival date for the following dates will be non-refundable: 11th-13th March, 2022; 2nd-5th May, 2022; 24th December, 2022 – 31 January, 2023.
Bookings cancelled within 7 days of the arrival date for the following dates will be non-refundable: 15th-17th April, 2022. Early departure within the first 3 nights is non-refundable. Early departure during longer stays carry a chargeable 3 day notice period.

Deposit: When booking more than 3 months in advance, a 3 night deposit is required to secure the booking with full payment to be made 1 month in advance e.g. High demand periods such as Christmas, Easter, May races, Speedway etc.

Early departure: Early departure within the first 3 nights is non-refundable. Early departures during longer stays carry a chargeable 3 day notice period.

No-shows: In case of No-show, 100% of first 3 nights will be charged.
